Welded Mesh
We supply Welded Mesh which can be used for permanent areal coverage in any excavation in mines. The mesh can be fitted between roofbolts, or other support, to further consolidate the excavation and prevent the fallout of smaller rocks between support. This further improves safety underground for mining crews and also provides protection to machinery.
Welded mesh is provided in either Ø4.0mm wire, Ø5.6mm wire or for a combination of the two diameters, please see the 3D Mesh below.
All mesh is produced according to strict quality standards to ensure the product meets industry safety requirements. Stringent testing of the weld integrity is performed to maximise the strength of the final product and all sheets are flush-cut smooth to reduce any risk of injury to operators during handling.
3D Mesh
3D Mesh is similar to Welded Mesh used for permanent areal coverage in any excavation in mines. 3D Mesh can be fitted between roofbolts, or other support, to further consolidate the excavation and prevent the fallout of smaller rocks between support. This further improves safety underground for mining crews and also provides protection to machinery.
3D Mesh is manufactured the same as Welded Mesh except that the wire diameter in the one direction is Ø4.0mm and the wire in the other direction is Ø5.6mm. This patented combination provides the stiffness and strength of the Ø5.6mm wire in one direction and the flexibility of the Ø4.0mm wire on the other direction whilst reducing the overall weight of the mesh. The flexibility built in to the completed wire sheet or roll allows the mesh to be more easily adapted to the shape of the hanging wall during installation for a flush installation whilst maintaining a higher load capacity than a standard 4.0mm sheet.
All mesh is produced according to strict quality standards to ensure the product meets industry safety requirements. Stringent testing of the weld integrity is performed to maximise the strength of the final product and all sheets are flush-cut smooth to reduce any risk of injury to operators during handling.
